Dr. Letourneau has a passion for specialty contact lens care, particularly for patients who are deemed hard to fit. He is known for his detail-oriented approach and unmatched eye care experience. He is deeply committed to patient education and develops personalized treatment plans that align with each patient’s unique visual needs and lifestyle goals.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Biology in 2003 and went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham after graduating from the University of Kansas.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Letourneau is proud to serve through SEE International, traveling with teams of eye surgeons to Milot, Haiti, where he has helped provide essential medical and surgical eye care to thousands of patients who may otherwise have limited access to treatment.
Dr. Letourneau attended the University of Kansas, where he was a student-athlete and played football for the Jayhawks while earning his bachelor’s degree in Human Biology. He went on to pursue his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Letourneau is an active member of several professional organizations dedicated to advancing specialty contact lens care and corneal disease management. He is a member of the Scleral Lens Education Society, the International Keratoconus Academy, the Gas Permeable Lens Institute, and the American Optometric Association. He also attends the Global Specialty Lens Symposium annually to remain at the forefront of specialty lens innovation and treatment advancements.

For Dr. Letourneau, restoring clear vision is deeply personal. Helping patients experience comfort and clarity after years of frustration is what inspires his dedication to specialty eye care every day.
He is also committed to expanding access to vision care both locally and globally through organizations such as SEE International and the National Keratoconus Foundation, supporting education, awareness, and resources for patients with complex corneal conditions.
Dr. Letourneau grew up in Concordia, Kansas, and outside of work, his favorite role is being a husband to Karla and a dad to Isla. Their family enjoys exercising, traveling, cheering Isla on in sports, and always looking for new and memorable experiences together.
Before pursuing optometry, Dr. Letourneau attended the University of Kansas, where he was a four-year member of the Jayhawks football team and a two-year starter. He earned recognition as a Big XII Academic All-Conference honoree and was selected as a District 6 Academic All-American.
His dedication, discipline, and team-oriented mindset continue to shape both his professional career and his commitment to serving others.
